I'm of the opinion, put the money you would have paid for the warranty into a bank account. Use the account for RV repairs and a little to it each month. At the end of what would be hour warranty you will probably have a nice chunk of change in your account.
If you purchase the warranty, say for $1600, your out $1600 at the end of the warranty if you never used it. These companies are out to make money and will find any excuse to not pay.
We purchased a 5 year warranty on our 2012 fiver, our first rv, and refunded it after the first year realizing we could fix most issue ourselves. That $1600 is now sitting in the bank.
