- Chum_leeExplorerNice fishing weather for January 10, 2019 at Lake Sam Rayburn, Texas. We just found a new place to winter! We're a little camera shy though. It seems like there are cameras everywhere at that lake.
This would be my first thought as my RV is floating/sinking, my bass boat is drifting across the lake without a pilot at the helm, and, my dog is sitting helpless on the passenger front seat. Hey Chum lee, you and your friends gotta get this on video then edit (cuts from 3 different cameras) it all together and put it on YouTube!

Edit:
From my youth, where we did a lot of power boating, sailing, house boating, jet skiing, river rafting, tubing, canoe/kayaking fresh/salt water fishing, water skiing, scuba diving, etc.
IIRC, it takes 3 people to safely/expediently launch an average sized power boat from a trailer on a boat launch ramp:
1 person to drive the tow vehicle
1 person at the helm of the boat
1 person on the bow line to release/guide the boat to/from the trailer
OK, two in a pinch, but hey this guy is an outdoor adventurer/expert. He can do it all with just one person! Well, . . . . . what could go wrong? - BobboExplorer IIThey should have disabled the backup lights and brake lights before filming this. If you freeze the video when it cuts to the side view, you can clearly see a person sitting in the driver's seat.

- MrWizardModeratori would not be fooling with the 'freakin phone' trying to video this mess
i would be yelling for a truck and a tow rope
after i got this thing out of the water
i might hand out my email and ask people to send me their videos - down_homeExplorer IISaw the title and expected a scene form one of the newfangled drive through boat launch ramps!
Isn't the first one who has done that.
As to the dog releasing the brake, it is entirely possible.
Friend at a camp ground in La went to supper with us. Cam back the genrator was running. Dog had turned it on.
I warned him not to leave the keys in the coach, the dog might drive off with it. :) - BobboExplorer II

Except in the side view you can see a person sitting in the driver's seat. You have to stop the video, but he is unmistakable. - MrWizardModeratorlooks like SOMETHING is in the seat, i won't claim i see a person
if that is gasser with a column shift, set in park, the dog might have knocked it into reverse, it looked like the backup lights came on
parking brake might not have been set, or might be weak, after all it is on a boat ramp, decent incline easy to go backwards
the selfie video phone **** is so hokey, and who was taking the initial video out in the water
where are the credits for all the different video angles - steveh27ExplorerMany years ago, I put the hoop leash handle over the gear shift on my auto van when I stopped to take a pic to keep the dog in the van. She jerked it into gear & I was quick enough to get in to stop it before going off the road into a swamp. Never used the gear shift to secure the leash again.
- drsteveExplorerThis guy claims he was just following his wife's hand signals...
- midnightsadieExplorer IInow if that was a ford it would just pull its self right out. p.s I like this pic best ,its real.
