I'd go with the rear as well. You might need to build a special storage shelf or bracket or if the frame is good enough (some are, some are not) a 2" receiver with a "Hitch Hauler" cargo tray and a Blue Ox "hitch Immobilizer" or "Anti-Rattle Clip" (Just to make the tray more stable) works well. NOTE do not block view of License plate.
