Your profile is incomplete in that it doesn't tell us what your RV is so that people can offer suggestions.
I just screw the two ends together so that nothing gets into the hose and then throw it into a compartment next to all of the hook-ups. If I'm not going to use the MH for a while, I'll put a few drops of Clorox in the hose and shake it some before I screw the ends together.
