For those of us who don't have "smart" phone and who don't plan to get one, what kind of Weather Alert Radio do you have and is it hard wired or ???

I've been using a set of GRMS radios that have the NWS broadcast channel. No alerts per-say, but we only check them if we think something is brewing. While we have smart phones and tablets, often the NWS reports on their frequency are most accurate and up to date.
