Weather forecasts

Is there a website where they tell you if there is a 40% chance of rain what time of day those rain chances might happen? I want to do something outdoors on Friday in a town about 2 hrs away but would like to know when the rain is expected..Am I asking too much? Suggestions?

  • Weather underground has a cool way of showing it, too. However, it shifts around a fair amount. You can look now, but you should check that morning to be sure.
  • Another thread has numerous mentions of an Android app called Raindar. Just took a quick look and it seems to indicate radar and forecasts for anywhere in the country. Several posts mentioned it;you might take a look.
  • Most weather sites include an hourly forecast so you can see when the rain is likely to begin and end. I tend to use the weather section of the local website for the ABC TV affilate here in Los Angeles. Their forecast seems to be as accurate as possible.
  • Yesterday one weather man said partly sunny and low 80's and another one said partly cloudy and 90, both said no rain. It was low 70's with no sun and it rained twice. You will do better by looking at the sky.
