- downtheroadExplorerThat's a relatively small trailer and your truck should handle it as long as you don't load up the bed of the truck with a lot of stuff.
But, I agree with Terryallen above. The stance doesn't look right. Too much squat. Hopefully you can adjust on your hitch some and correct it. - TerryallanExplorer III know you ain't gonna like this. But looking at your pic. and IF the wdh is installed. You don't have enough truck. It looks like the truck is squatting excessively in the back, and is up in the front. It should sit pretty much like it does unhooked. Maybe an inch or so down in the back. But not that much.
- Hornnumb2ExplorerI would have to get the door readings in the morning. Max payload is 1380. And I am using a equilizer E2. Being just 40 pounds over on the front if I drop a hole wouldn't it take to much off the front?

Thanks Michael
Looks pretty good.
1. what is the front and rear axle ratings on the door tag?
2. What are the tire ratings in lbs at max psi? Found on side wall
3. when you got the weights did you have a full tank and all the cargo and people in the truck?
What WD hitch do you have? What link are you on the chain?
You dont want to go over on the front axle as you did. You may need to drop a link and weigh again..
You dont want the front to be over the 3380 you show truck alone...
Fix that and your golden.
Post back that info and take a pic of WD with trailer hooked up.. We can tell alot from looking at the angle of the bars...
Very nice set up you have.. - therinkExplorerWhat is the trucks payload (lbs cargo) as listed on the decal on the door jamb?
What is the trucks gcwr as listed in the owners manual?
When you weighed the truck and trailer, were both the trailer and truck loaded as if going camping? This includes family, firewood, tools, bikes, gear, clothing, food, and anything else you would load?
If the trailer is empty (dry) the weights you provided are not what counts. Everything needs to be fully loaded before hitting the scale to properly assess.
