Your statements quoted highlight what I was saying. You're now fixated on whether you will add 1000 or 1900 lbs and not realizing that even at 15% TW that only equals a 135lb delta (900x.15) and if that makes or breaks things then you have a seriously mismatched tow combo. Also, I question how accurate that 1000 lb "NORM" you are using is ... again things only tend to get heavier and not lighter and while those only doing weekends might pack lighter, extend that to a couple of weeks spanning two seasons with extra food and things again can really add up. Two of us that have experience have recommended using the GVWR yet you with zero experience are disregarding the advice you are being given.
Read some more and you might get some appreciation for all those that have make mistakes and learned from them often with "MULTIPLE" T-Shirts.
