Funny how sooooo many people from up north call Florida home for the winter. I call Florida home all year and would much rather deal with the chance of a hurricane than the reality of snowbird season. Fact is that when I retire in 2 1/2 yrs I would love to move somewhere there is a change of seasons, one day is like the next here, sunny and warm oh sorry did I say sunny and warm. I do have to agree with the post about southern Florida being like a concrete jungle but it is even worse during snowbird season. Love the mountains of North Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Happy camping everyone and hopefully the snow and cold goes away so you northerners can get out and camp.
