You are only about 50 miles or so east south east of our daughter's home and her snow on the level ground was less than 16-18" before the melt as she'd posted pics on another secured social media with her 10 yr old daughter standing in it last Sunday. The snow didn't even come up to her knees. Snowdrift depths certainly would be different though!
Lots of LIVE streaming B&W and in color cams all over West michigan that we look at every day on the puter down here in Florida where we are.
We're down in a "bowl" so even today's temps didn't go above freezing. We went from maybe 24" on the ground, to 20"?? A friend of mine from Martin (about 6 miles to the SW) who keeps track of snowfall, says they've received 130" so far....
I'm still giggling about the "visual" of Sault Ste Marie being a suburb of Chicago.... wave to them as they go by, OK?
