Whaddaya gonna do?

A supply disruption will have many impacts before it stops fuel at the pump. I'd enjoy the trip and be thankful I could go.

I have heard of no retail gasoline supply interruptions. None. Go and enjoy!

There shouldn't be any supply disruption due to the Russian oil import ban. Last year the US only got about 3% of its imported oil from Russia. About 61% of the imports came from Canada. The Russia ban won't even cause a ripple in the fuel supply. The US is still oil export positive. Pricing on the other hand, is anyone's guess. My attitude is "Pay is pay it or park it." A $1/gallon fuel price increase adds $120/1000 miles, and I can handle that. Not happily of course, but we'll keep right on living and moving in our motorhome even if it means cutting the budget in other areas.

I can think all kinds of calamities real and imagined that would keep me from going.
But the reality is you should go now why you are healthy and able.

I'm all in for my 2022 camping season

Our vacation starting in April is still a go. We will be traveling about 5000 miles and get about 10 mpg. If gas prices go from my planned $4 to an actual $5 per gallon, I spend an extra $500. Compared to the total cost of a trip like this, it is not all that much extra cash. If enough people park their campers, I should have an easier time getting a nice camp site.

We are better positioned for this one than the last one. The last one we had a 35 foot gas motor home pulling a jeep that got 6-8 mpg. This time we have a Tacoma pulling a small Airstream. So we don't envision any change in plans.

The higher the cost of fuel, the fewer miles I will go. I have never been able to afford all I want,.......of anything expensive.

If I can get away in the RV I am going.

I don't even look at the price. If I want to go I got to buy fuel and I am rolling out in 2 days. I worked hard to have enough to play now and I intend to play. Every thing I have is paid for, everything!
