What a Great Idea!

We were recently at a music festival and camping was sort of free for all in an area. (Not Free- 17$ 0HU).

A neighbor put solar lights where his tie downs for the fly of his teardrop were. I copied and did the same for the strings that held our screen house from blowing away. Nobody got hung up all weekend.

If you buy the cheap ones without a switch, you can turn them off by cutting a short piece of cable tie and thinning one end so you can shove it back in where the pull tab came out.

  • Good idea. I tie orange surveyors tape to lines. I've even tied the tape to other people's guy lines if they are near a walkway I use.

Are you going to tell us the great idea?

I'm glad you asked I didn't have a clue either.

The great idea is installing solar lights in the ground where the guy wires for things like tents and screen rooms are anchored to the ground. Presumably this helps keep people from tripping over the wires or stakes at night

    Thanks for clarifying.
