I was wondering if they can be kept open while moving. - CHBurrisExplorerWe've had our Fuzion since March, and we've already lost 2 of those beautiful frameless windows just driving down the interstate. We've owned 3 campers, and have never had this problem. Needless to say, I'm not a fan.
- jnharleyExplorerWe were also told that we had to have regular frames windows in our slide. Since we were ordering from the factory and knew we would never be opening the windows, we insisted on the frameless windows being installed. Those two windows do not open at all. We run one fan out and one fan in and it really cools down the inside and circulates the air. No need for us to open windows. And we eliminated those little windows beside the bed. The manufacturer thought we were crazy but we like it very much. Keeps the bedroom nice and dark which was a plus when we were in Alaska this summer.
- gregrc75ExplorerOn my previous trailer I had sliding windows. On my current I have frameless. Both have advantages.
When we were camping in Maine with the sliding windows, a severe t-storm knocked out power at the campground which meant no a/c for us. We don't have a generator. It was pouring rain and we could only open the one window beneath the awning. It got pretty humid and warm inside.
With the frameless, we might have a bit less airflow, but we could have opened every window since the rain is kept out when open. Also, when I store my camper in the driveway I leave the roof vents open along with a window or two. - cochise49ExplorerWhen the outside air turns cool, we turn on the roof vent fan (exhaust) and open a the crank out windows nearest where we sit or in the bedroom. Draws in cool air, saves on electric and/or noise of AC when possible.
- GaryWTExplorerWe have them, they look good. We do not open them much but you can leave them open in the rain. We will leave the doors open, we run the AC or we run the AC unit on fan only so the windows generally stay closed.

We have dual pane frameless windows. No special maintenance is required. They just look nice. Ours open on the bottom. We never open the windows anyway so not an issue for us. We have 4 roof fans which circulates the air nicely.
How do you circulate?
Do you have two fans blow in and two out? - EricGTExplorerI do like the appearance of the frameless windows. However they do seem to move less air than opening sliders.
However, I am more apt to leave the motorhome with the frameless windows open than I did when I had sliders. - jnharleyExplorerWe have dual pane frameless windows. No special maintenance is required. - DSDP_DonExplorerOur Monaco had regular sliding windows and they worked well. You could open them up for good ventilation and even pass things out the window because the screen would slide too. It was nice to slide them open sometimes if you wanted to see what was going on (they were tinted dark) especially at night.
Our new coach has the frameless and they look great, but you lose some of the view and the circulation is really cut back. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but I liked the sliding windows better.
