What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

my dogs
my wonderful daughter and SIL
my absolutely wonderful grandson
our military and all our heroes that keep us safe.
And I thank the Lord every day for the great state of Florida

Faith, family, friends an a thousand other things I have been blessed with.

This year a little different. Last week I found a friend that I grew up with and lost track of. For off and on 50 years I have been looking or my old friend, and last week I found him. Makes this Thanksgiving just a little more special.

Some very wonderful words here.

Life is not perfect, but I / we are blessed in so many ways; and it so great when someone says, "Good to see you" as it far better to be seen than viewed.

Right now we are thankful for the amazing weather. It is sunny and warm so once the turkey has been consumed we plan to take a good long walk....in our shirt sleeves! Even for CA this is an especially lovely day! Beyond that we are truly thankful for family,good health,and gratitude for our great country! We have our flaws for sure,but we are blessed to live in the good ole USA.

Not much except we're both staying reasonably healthy and the kids and grand-kids are fine. We're having to give up the RV lifestyle this year because of costs having gone so high, so our exploring days are over. The rig is with a consignment dealer about 20 miles away. The family are all elsewhere this year, some gone to Hawaii, others visiting a grand-daughter who's a "Grizz" at the University of Montana.

We had a good year, with our 50th wedding anniversary in August. We had family visiting from the UK and Japan. With all the work getting ready for a big family party, we never used the RV except as supplementary sleeping accommodation in the driveway.

2015 should be quieter, but we'll miss not being able to go off in the "big box".

BTW, cyntdon, my wife has a friend who will turn 97 next month. She says "Darn it, I woke up again today".

I am thankful for the Lord of Lords and my savior Jesus Christ. He is always there when I need him and he will see me through till the end. His grace is sufficient and his mercy is ever lasting. Im thankful that all my family is here with me and they are all healthy. Im thankful that our grt nation will preserver and over come this mess we are in at the present. Oh yea Im thankful I made the last payment on my M/H...

I am thankful there is no God but YHWH, and Yeshua is my Messiah. I am thankful for my family who loves me in spite of my faults. I am thankful I am employed by a company who is concerned for my safety and well being on and off the job. I am thankful that I am an American and I am endowed by my creator (not my lunatic Govt.) with the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I am thankful I was born a southerner and have embraced a proud heritage.

While there are too many to name here, I am thankful that I woke up this morning, and even though it's cold & raining, that makes it a good day. ;)
