I finally figured out that there is a certain method to the madness of looking for floor plans. RKS means (at least in part) rear kitchen. RLS means rear living room.Is there a (fairly complete) guide to interpreting RV model numbers?

I haven't seen a list.I usually look at the manufacturers website and when I find a floorplan I like then I look at the details to get the specs.

"S" usually means slide"B" usually means bunk house.

There is no industry standard. Every maker uses their own system for model designation.

One explanation I heard was the only thing that made sense to me. The model letters and numbers mean just what each manufacturer wants them to mean.

As far as I can tell, the more letters and the higher the number, the higher the price.

What do all of the letters and numbers mean? Model Numbers

I didn't think about island. I have one but its not in the slide. Maybe its rear living, island, slide.

CR = Center Refrigerator
39 = 39' living space. Trailer measures 42'
not sure what 05 part is.

I thought FS meant Full Slide. We have a Jayco Greyhawk 31FS which has 2 slides and a bunk house. I know Jayco uses BH for Bunk House so I'm not sure the 31FS isn't the 31BH or the 31FSBH. By the way our Greyhawk is 32' 2".

I have no clue about the lettering on the motorhomes and they may be different but I promise you a Jayco 383FLFS fifth wheel is a Front Living, Five Slide rig.

Ours is s Montana 324 RLQ. From measuring it looks like the inside is 32.4 feet,
With Rear Living and Quad slides.

But, I'm just guessing.
