- EConesExplorerThis photo is making the rounds on the Internet. Though I didn't see it personally, I suppose it fits. ;)

Motorcycle riders with their helmets mounted someplace other than their heads is always a good one.
They have to have the helmet along in case they enter a state with a helmet law. You wouldn't want them to get a ticket would you ?
In Alaska the motorcycle operator isn't required to wear a helmet - but the passenger is. The operator doesn't need a helmet because forcing them to wear one would "infringe upon their personal freedoms". When I asked why requiring a helmet for the passenger didn't infringe on their personal rights also, no one could answer me. That's politicians for you....

Or seatbelts. Go figure, and it is a primary offense for many states. Must be the $$$. - captnjackExplorer

Up by Banff, Jasper. It was a really dry summer and the bears were down low feeding on berries. Warning signs EVERYWHERE.
I watched a guy taking pictures of two grizzly cubs feeding, he was on the edge of a meadow less than twenty feet from them. I pulled over and took pictures of the event from the safety my truck, knowing mom was more than likely in the bushes.
The rangers loved my pic, it took a prominant place the their "what not to do" album.
Not clear whether or not you warned the guy that he was endangering himself. Or did you just hope to get the mother's attack on film? - Gonzo42ExplorerTpi, I saw that guy doing that and at that same location, last July. Headed south at the time.

Bill - kickstartExplorerSeen a wreck in northern Indiana, jeep lying on its side, man lying in road not moving and his "friends" not helping him but throwing beers into the woods beside the road.
- rhagfoExplorer IIII guess the dumbest thing I have seen was heading to the coast in February. There were two of us following a snow plow (did I mention the road was snow covered?)The guy following the plow (speed 45 to 50) was about one car length behind the plow, this was a lifted 2500 pulling a TT TH of about 30', had that plow hit something, no way could he avoided hitting.

Oh, believe me, I've seen some amazingly stupid things. The one that I've seen countless times is a car with a mattress on top held by a piece of string with the front of the mattress bent up in the wind. Sometimes there are hands trying to hold it down, too.
Georgians are smarter than Californians. Here they don’t bother to remove the fitted sheet prior to travel. Why add two unnecessary steps? - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Not the dumbest thing I have seen but I do have proof!
Jacked up 2500 heading down the highway bouncing and swerving like a snake.
Don't think it is lifted, looks normal for a 4wd to me. Togue weight might be light but. I toe a like setup with no problem.
It was a 2500 GM and it was lifted for sure. VERY bouncy and swayed like a snake! - FunnyCamperExplorer IIand we assumed most of these people are not stoned, drunk, or medicated to that effect and having a blessed day?
people. need we say more? :) :)
every single situation has a reason behind it. most times. whether it in a rush, I am king attidude, under the infulence etc. More than not, most 'crazy off the wall' has a bigger reason other than risk/reward. everything in this nation is out of whack right now!!
