What is the nearest campground to the four Corners in Co.

I’m actually replying to you from the Ute Mountain Casio RV Park & it’s very nice & peaceful & met a great couple from Ontario Canada.
Gonna check out the casino in a little while.

We didn't gamble, but did go into the casino to check in and to get dinner at the buffet (it's a treat for the daughter).

We could barely make it through with the smoke smell. :( (But, this also isn't the first casino we couldn't stand due to it.)

Fortunately the pool didn't have the same smell and was actually nice and deserted when we went swimming. (The campground's pool was closed and you had to use the hotel pool.)

While we are enjoying our stay at Ute Mountain RV Park & Casino, after visiting the 4 corners monument, I found about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile way down the road a drive way where I stopped to get s good picture of the “Welcome to Colorado” sign a couple of hand painted signs at an open gate that said Dry Camping only.

So if you wanted to visit the Monument & even walk to it from. Your camp spot , you easily could.



The enterance is to the 4 corners is just around the corner as you go up the hill.

The Colorado Plateau has some of the best archaeological sites in the World and very interesting geology. The Four Corners Monument is of little consequence.

Agreed, I’m not expecting more than just saying I’ve been there & taking a picture.
& I generally never return to the same attractions.

I don’t even like taking the same road back from heading out, I’m a big been there done that sorta guy.
