I definetly agree with mlts22 after a season of occasional camping dispose of the filter. I spend 3 months in florida and at the end of the stay, I pull the cartidge and it is loaded with ground sea shells, flotsom of one kind or the orther and it goes in the dumper. After all they are not real expensive items so why take a chance.
