- kvangilExplorerI just put an extendable wash brush on the end of my garden hose and wash away. During the camping season, I'll wash mostly the sides after a trip. If I feel up to it, or before putting away for winter storage, I'll climb up to the roof with the same wash brush and just clean off best I can....

As noted there are several Truck Wash places.. HOWEVER use of high pressure guns on RV's is ... Not recommended (They can push water straight through the seals on slides, compartment doors and windows)
BLUE BEACON, from what I understand, actually trains their workers in how to properly wash an RV.. other places you take your chances.
I know BB did a very good job on my rig... Another Generic, Truck wash did a good job too but BB did it better.
Some places have professionals who bring mobile hardware to you.
Las Vegas has both a BB and at least one mobile service.
ALSO.. Many RV parks have a bulletin board where people put small ads for goods and services they have for sale.... Many of those boards have at least one mobile RV wash service on them. You park, they come out and clean your house (Well the outside anyway).
Vegas also has a "do it yourself" RV wash which has permanent raised "platforms" - accessed by stairs at each end - about 5' high on each side.
~ - wbwoodExplorerGoogle Colorado rv wash. First thing that come up is http://www.hiddenwash.com
- rrurbanExplorerI can wash my car at a self service car wash for $3.00. I'm guessing it will take $6.00 to wash the RV, at which point I'll drive it home to wax/detail it. The problem is my RV is 12ft tall and won't fit in any car washes. I'm just thinking it makes no sense that all the self serve car washes are built with short bays. Why not make a car wash 14ft tall so you have cars, trucks, semi trailers and RVs as customers? I'm in Colo Springs and there is nothing like that here. Thanks for the feedback.

I plan to wash the RV myself and don't want the expense of having someone do it for me. Looks like there are no truck washes in my area. I'm wondering if opening a self service car wash with 16ft tall bays near the interstate would attract RVers? Trucks, RVs and cars could all use the wash. Is this a needed business? Any thoughts?
For around $40 at Blue Beacon, I think that's a very good price. We pay half of that at the local auto spa just for our cars.
But if you are not wanting to pay someone else to do it, then why would you think someone else would want to pay you to use your bay?
I googled "rv wash bay Denver" and came up with several options on the first page. - rrurbanExplorerI plan to wash the RV myself and don't want the expense of having someone do it for me. All were unsatisfactory but Blue Beacon was best of poor. They seem to do a much better job on the trucks than on the RVs.
- VeebyesExplorer III use my neighbourhood boatyard. Wash top to bottom to my hearts content. Put up the A frame staging around it just like a boat & go at it with the wax & machine buffer.
- imgoin4itExplorerNot sure what kind of "car wash" you are looking for but we have several self washes that have high, motor home wash areas on the ends of the facility. Doesn't have a bay per say but the nozzle is high enough to do a motor home.
