Just returned from Myrtle Beach. I had a screw in a trailer tire while siting in camp. I attempted to plug it myself but couldn't get a good seal so I ended up having it repaired at a shop. I used my 110 3 gallon lowes compressor to fill it.
We headed home Saturday noon. TPMS in the truck lights up after a while, got a screw in the right rear truck tire. Saturday afternoon I couldn't find an open tire store to save my butt, but the compressor in the back of my truck did. Topped it off twice more Saturday, and again Sunday AM. WAs steeling myself to air it up every couple of hours on the way home.
Pulled into Culpepper,Va, LO and behold there was a Merchants Tire Store open on a Sunday. Whipped in they sent a guy out in the rain with a floor jack. He pulled my tire dismounted it patched and plugged it mounted balanced and reinstalled it. Manager said no charge!!!! So I tipped the tech 20 bucks.
