My 2KW Generator sits secured in the tailgate corner of my covered and lockable FOLD-A-COVER bed cover.

We only run our generator at the public campgrounds usually at 8AM each morning using the trailer shore power cable with an RV30A-15A Adapter to power up the OFF-ROAD trailer converter/charger unit to charge our battery bank back up to its 90% charge state each day.
Everything we want to use is run from our 600WATT Inverter or direct connected to the 255AH battery bank..
Usually where we camp without electric hookups on the East side of the US and Eastern Natl Forest areas do not allow the use of the generator except during generator run time hours. Never allowed after 8PM at night.
We live just fine in the OFF-ROAD camp grounds without the use of Air Conditioning.
