If you decide to purchase a Jeep, do not trust the dealer to know if you can dinghy tow it or not. We went through this when we purchased our 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited. They would sell you anything without doing the research. The Jeep Cherokee (2014-15) have to be equipped with the Active II drive. Not sure about the Wrangler or Grand Cherokee.
