I do think they are interesting. I'm just not sure flying them over a campground with people, and expensive rigs is a good idea. Five or more pounds falling from the sky could easily cause injury / damage.
Having said that " shooting at them" at, or near a campground, is not a safe or educated response.
A gentleman was flying / recording with a drone last year year at Jeep beach in Daytona. Actually his YouTube video looks good. However, when he launched it at the Jeep event within the speedway, security quickly shut him down due to the safety of those within the infield.
I don't want them flying over my property, however you can not expect privacy on public property.
Rocks may be fun though...lol.
Be smart and safe with them, and all should be good!
