IMHO there would be no other reason. There certainly is not any great 'have to have' pictures of mountains, oceans or scenic views over a CG.
The elephant in the room is not the mechanics of a drone but the voyeurism of the owners that use them. Beat around the bush any way you want it boils down to just that. [emoticon]
And the last time I looked at the statute it is a felony crime. We don't have to wait for the fed gov to catch up with the drone laws there is one in place already if only every person victimized would utilize it.
"A person is guilty of the dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image in the first-degree, a Class E Felony punishable up to 1 - to 4 years in State prison, when he or she:
(i) publishes or sells an image that was unlawfully obtained; or
(ii) disseminates an image he or she unlawfully obtained; or ...."
It will be a field day for attorneys when all these drone owners feel the need to start posting, I.E. publishing their videos they've captured of unsuspecting people on their social media pages. [emoticon]
Please stop, You are babbling. I fly a drone because its fun..try it sometimes you might enjoy it.
Yes, but what is fun for you might be an annoyance to others, possibly many others.
I have a gun for protection, I go out and shoot it for fun and to stay sharp, but I can't do that in my backyard or a campground.
