I got a DJI Phantom around five years ago. I could see all the writing on the wall with the restrictions coming. I got it out of my system before the government shut it all down. Flew it in all the places I am no longer allowed to fly it. Did it safe, didn't harass anyone or anything.
I have only had it out once in the past year. There was a forest fire a couple ridges over from our house a few weeks ago. Buzzed it over there just to see how bad it was (it wasn't bad at all - but it looked bad at night). Turned out to be slash on a hillside, cause unknown.
