By far the majority of the DJI drones in the $1k to $1.5K (Phantom 3 and 4, and Mavic series) all shoot video in 4K but NONE of them can "zoom in" as you describe. They all have a fixed lens. Granted the resolution is great with 4K but things appear just as far away as with 2.7K or 1080p. If you can afford an Inspire 1 or 2 with the additional optional zoom lens then you're looking at something above $4,000 so VERY few people who fly recreationally have that capability. We don't need anymore misinformation than what's already spreading.
By the same token, I don't hear people complaining about every parking lot and mall taking video of you everywhere you go :-)
