This is a good example of what many people like me like to use a drone for. This is also demonstrates how stable the GPS system is in this consumer drone (a Phantom 4). This is a timelapse video. Anyone who knows anything about photography knows that in order to shoot time lapses, you need a tripod mount to hold the camera steady. This video was shot over a 12 minute period and compressed down to 2.5 minutes. It was taken from 300 feet above ground level on a day when the ground winds were 16 mph. It's not perfect but under the circumstances, quite remarkable (and beautiful if I do say so) :)
