Who near Omaha,NE can install Tire-Man dually extenders?

Hi - I'd like to have Tire-Man valve extenders installed on my Spinter 3500 dually wheels. Unfortunately, too far to drive to calif - anyone have any recommendations for a reliable tire shop who have done one of these retro installs? Anyone you would NOT recommend? I have had bad experiences in the past with my local RV dealers with my previous RV so want to avoid them. Looking for a seasoned tire tech, not kids. Thx much.

  • Bobbo - yes, that is what Chuck recommends - hand them his detailed instructions and hang out to make sure it's followed to a tee. Have read too many horror stories of people who have left their shop only to find their tires flat shortly later. What is your chassis?

I had my local tire shop do the install when I bought new tires for my RV. While I can't say the technician did it Tire Man's way, I can guarantee that he read the instructions. I stood there after handing them to him.
  • Don't know if any of you have actually had Chuck ("The Tire-Man" in So Calif) do your install or purchased his kit, but he's VERY particular about how it's installed, especially since the front wheel on my chassis must be notched to accommodate the new valves. I understand he's legendary and been in the business for 40+ yrs so has seen some jobs botched by others. This is why I am looking for someone who has actually installed his equipment.

Too many inexperienced "kids" at those big box places. He recommends a privately owned shop with someone who's been in the business a number of years. Chuck provides detailed instructions that MUST be followed to the T. Thx
  • Don't know if you've found an answer yet but pretty much any tire shop can do it.
