IN geral I get your point. I sort of approach the forum the same way as you and read active topics.
However if you are looking for info you will get a better response by posting in the appropriate forum.
If you have a question about a CG you will get a better response posting in CG forum vs. the camping cooks forum.
You will also get better answers to your class A question in Class A forum vs. tenting forum. It's not rocket science.
For the seasoned campers that provide all the answers, maybe it doesn't matter,
But if you are asking the question, posting in the right place can be beneficial.
