Who really cares about what forum a thread is in?

I often see responses along the lines of "why did you post on this forum rather than that forum" or 'this belongs in "X" forum, or "you will get more responses posting in this forum instead" . Pers...

I have 16 forums I am interested in and on my MyForums page. Each time I come to the forum I check the new posts on the MyForums page. If a new topic is not in one of those forums, I will not see it.
