Nope, it never gets old !
My wife and I retired ten years ago after me working all my life.
We are canoers and kayakers, hikers and bikers, and love every minute of our exploring, traveling and staying healthy.
Speaking for myself, this is the best time of my entire life, and I am sure she feels the same way.
With all that said, I think after reading your post, you probably should stay just doing what you are doing now.
