We started camping in 1973 Due to the large family size, as it always took two motel rooms when on the road. The boys always enjoyed camping with the Boy scouts, SO our first two unit was a pop up camper.Our boys really liked the hiking, swimming and campfires at night. We used these pop up campers for about 22 years, then moved up to a fiver some 18 years ago. Now our grandchildren camp with us.
Full time camping for us is not on the table, but we do get away in the summer months for an extended 6 to 8 week trip every few years.
