I play guitar, mainly classic rock, so I love music but I don't bother others with it at the campground. Camping is our get away from all our routine activities at home and we just want to enjoy the peace and quiet around the campground; Long walks, cooking out, possibly meeting and making new friends.
I think if you just got to listen to music while camping, put on some headphones and you can do some headbanging at your campsite if you want. I just don't care to hear it !! It's a matter of being considerate of others. Most people are considerate but those few can really spoil it.
Now those who have kids are just as bothersome for the noise part. I can be a little more tolerant because young kids are just having fun and don't really understand about being considerate but they can sure get on your nerves screaming and crying all weekend.
Our best campouts are through the week when kids are in school and partiers have to go to work.
