Back on point.. it's not about the type of music, it's about ASSUMING those around you want to listen to it with you.
As someone pointed out, even if it's my favorite song of all time, I may not (probably don't) want to hear it blaring across the campground. But, of course, in today's society, unfortunately, it's all to common to get a response like 2Oldmen got, 'Im camping and I'll do what I want'.
I remember me and my buds 'rappin to Rappers Delight' during our late teens, so I can enjoy all kinds of music, in the proper setting. I just don't force my neighbors to listen it.
