Towables will sit unused untouched for months at a time. Then people hook it up and run it hard for several hundred miles without any preventative maintenance. Tires and wheels do not like to sit in one place very long.
How many do you know get under their rigs with a mechanic's mirror and flashlight each Spring when dewinterizing? Pull the tires and wheels and inspect axles and hubs?
The people that take care of their rigs are not the ones that have problems.
