This post sounds like a stand-up comedian who berates the audience when they don't laugh at something that isn't funny. Exactly what is funny about this sign?
You've had responses from several people that actually KNOW something about managing campgrounds and they are absolutely correct. There are a lot of people that mis-use campgrounds for day-use activities and prevent actually campers from using them for their intended purpose. Thus the need for a sign. A sign that is factual, necessary and not the least bit funny. (But unfortunate that they didn't spell correctly)
And before anyone takes the USFS to task for incorrect spelling, it appears that this notice was done by Thousand Trails Management Services, which likely is a concessionaire at whatever campground this is.
