My rig is a bath and a half, The main bath is full width and is in the rear, French doors seperate from the bedroom (Since I live alone I removed one of the doors for reasons of easy access, but the door was simply moved over so I can put it back)
Then the other side of the bedroom there is a pocket door Then a short hall
Then the half bath has it's own door.
Then there is the main, Multi-purpose room.. This room is Kitchen, Living room, Dining room and spare bedroom depending on what is needed at the moment.
So now you know why the pocket door, To close off the bed room from the multi-purpose room
Since I'm living alone just now most doors inside are normally open. However due to a mechanical issue (One A/C is dead till Tomorrow, then it's bigger) I do close that door during to day to restrict the cool air from the working A/C to one room. Helps... a little (not enough, one A/C when it's pushign 100 out and full sun is not good.. In fact it's so hot out my outside temp sensor ()one of 'em) has failed, currently showing 99 when the real is closer to 79 at the moment).
