I prefer using the bathouse if it is clean and maintained for all the reasons listed above. The missus prefers our own shower.

I only use ours when the public ones are in bad shape, too small.

As you say everybody is different. I usually use my small shower,

Personally, I just really relax and loosen up in the shower (NOT LIKE THAT-SHAME ON YOU)!
What I mean is, my muscles really loosen up and my whole body stops hurting in the shower. So my showers tend to be l-o-n-g. At home anyway.
When Im out. I have a tendency to take my showers late night. #1 because the temps outside are cooler. #2 I can take a 30 min. shower and "know" that nobody else is waiting for me to get out.

as others have stated, bigger showers, unlimited hot water, don't have to wipe it all dry when I'm done. But if we're on full hookups, I'd rather just use my own because I like to shower in the evening and put my nightgown on afterward.

Could be any of the above. We have used them when we had our big TT. Some of the bathrooms in the parks are nice. Offer large spaces, better waterflow and continuous hot water. Plus, you are not filling up your gray tank. Was he by himself? Maybe his wife and kids were using the one inside the motorhome and they were going somewhere. In the essence of time, that could be another reason.

My question is, why were you watching him go to the bathroom? lol

I'm right there with you. I have never understood that. Thats one of the main reasons we have a camper. I couldnt tell you what the inside of a bath house looks like in any park I've been to in the last twenty years

My pressure is terrible, and the nozzle is at chest-height.. I need the nozzle on my head. I don't have a fancy class C, but I can see going to the public shower if it's nice.

DW is the opposite. She never uses public restrooms or showers unless it absolutely can be helped.

Shower size.... I know several people who simply can't stand the size of their shower.
