A woman drove the dead husband from Houston to San Diego with the dead husband in the RV, or so it says in the internet on ABC news, sorry I can not upload the clip, my tablet is not good enough truth is I am still learning how to use it.

  • I have heard that you need a permit to carry a body with you in the vehicle. I talked to a guy who was watching his wife die slowly, and knew he needed to transport her to the cemetery at some point. His pre-planning and got the permit when he needed it, transported her body himself, I guess a ultimate sign of love to care for her until the end.

I am happy that in this case, he was out enjoying himself to the very end, and she was able to take care of her husband to the very end as well! What a strong woman!

    Fred.
  • I'm sure that the woman's journey was made in a state of shock, but at least she COULD drive the rig; for whatever reason, many women can't or won't, and have very limited options when the primary driver is "incapacitated" in one way or another. (And the husband's condition definitely qualifies.) Sad, but it seems that she did what she felt she had to under the circumstances.
  • What a gal! God bless her and her steel spine. She did what needed to be done. Now she can grieve.

X2. I'm sure she was under a lot of stress.
  • Very strong woman indeed! My wife would've dropped me off somewhere LOL.
And yes he died doing something he loved and the woman went right along with him. This is a sad but beautiful story!
  • Sounds to me like her husband died while they were traveling. Maybe doing what he wanted to do and she abided by his wishes to not resuscitate. Yes, she is a strong woman. So very sad.
  • I sure seems to make sense to me. A commercial carrier would have cost her a fortune. I am sure it was not a pleasant task, but she got the job done. Strong woman.
