Winnebago Adventurer

Bill Myers is one of the most admired authors about RVs and I'm one of his admirers but consider this statement

"Winnebago Adventurer – one of Winnebago’s best selling units, the Adventurer is a well built, well outfitted, reliable motorhome. Low mileage, like-new units six to eight years young can be found starting at under $20,000."

But I can't verify this using searchtempest.com which allows one to search craigslist listings from California to Florida. Bill Myers says that Rvs get cheaper as you move from west to east but I haven't found that to be only a little true. And finding a 2012 or 2010 Adventurer under $20K ? Not even close - more like $40K

What does everyone think - what is your experience?

  • Dupe post. See the same in Class A.

Edit; The thread in Class A disappeared so I'll re-open this one.

    Carry on.
  • If you can't verify his statements, I think you need to rely on your own research.
It sounds like the author isn't doing his homework.
