I was tied up a little too long near Denver one year and burned 30 lb per day plus an electric heater and I boxed in around the tank area with black celotex and ran a heater off my Genny on the 7 degree nights.
It's good to know and have the practice of dealing with it. I have an old RV but a lot of them have the same characteristics. When towing my heat and AC perform poorly because of so much draft.
