- hawkeye-08Explorer IIII thought I saw an Atwood, but did not see it searching. I looked at the Husky one http://www.amazon.com/Husky-87641-Electric-Wireless-Remote/dp/B0063ZBXZC/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1411744389&sr=1-1-fkmr3&keywords=atwood+remote+control+jack
I decided I did not need remote.. - FSADExplorerSorry, I don't need a jack, I have an elec jack, I want a wireless switch I can hold in my hand to raise and lower the jack remotely.
- westendExplorerYou'll need an RF based wireless receiver and switch to replace the manual switch on the jack and a compatible RF remote to operate it.
Never done business with RFcontrol systems but they carry a lot of devices so may be a good knowledge base. - hawkeye-08Explorer III

Perhaps I should have explained. I doubt that you will find a add on mod for wireless remote for your existing jack and thus made a suggestion about a jack that comes with wireless remote. Perhaps you can order parts from that jack that does what you need.
Your post really didn't indicate that you wanted to fabricate your own, sorry for not knowing that. The switch for up and down on electric jack in not just a simple on/off (as you know) so I would expect you would need not only the electronics to send and receive the signals, but relays (to handle the current) and diodes to create the result you want. - kgarrett9999ExplorerRemote Switch
Looks like this might be what you're looking for.
I'd be interested in your final solution so be sure to post back here whatever you end up with. - ScottGNomadI'd be interested in this mod too. I know of several remotes but they all only have an on-off function. We're going to need something with a SPDT function - at least. It also needs to be weather tight unless it's small enough to fit in the head of the jack. My Barker has a fair amount of room in there but it would likely block access to the manual crank gear.

I like it! not sure about the delay, if im reading it right, I press up, and it waits 10 seconds till it starts moving?
Price looks good, wonder if I can install the receiver under the propane cover for weatherproofing?
The other option I was thinking of to avoid relays and such was to just get two, and wire one of them reverse polarity, tape the two remotes together and press one for up and the other for down. maybe a little ghetto, I believe.... :h
Lemme email that place and confirm the delay description. - FSADExplorer

Good idea, might have to give them a call...;)
Maybe I WAS a little vague about "suggest ways to make one up", no worries! - FSADExplorer

it would appear I read wrong, seems you push a button and it will run for the prescribed time (10-60 sec).
I found another one on their site, doesn't have a delay:
Other one
I emailed them asking about both, will keep you posted.
thanks all!

edit: course now that I think about it one MIGHT want a run delay, that way your not pushing the transmitter and having to hold it while the motor runs, might wear out the transmitter battery quicker. hmmmm... lets see what they say - gmc6000Explorer

I would like to tap in a wireless switch for my tongue jack, so I can level the unit from anywhere!
Any ideas on where to get one?
Or, if you could suggest ways to make one up, I'm all for it.
thanks

This one is designed for fifth wheels, but would also work for tongue jacks. I installed one on my Inferno, and it auto levels every time.
