Wiring one air conditioner to use 20 amp outlet

I have a 1997 Winnebago Itasca Suncruiser with a 5k Onan generator. The RV has one 30 amp plug. However, both air conditioners will only work at the same time if the generator is running. I would lik...

Your best bet is to go to the Winnebago website and download the wiring diagram for your RV. You probably have a front/rear A/C switch some where in the coach to switch between the two A/Cs while on 30amp power. So you have to wire up the separate 20amp power so it does not cross feed the 30 amp power. You probably have to have the switch set to the front A/C if using the generator wiring.
