Working at Walt Disney for holidays

I tried the search bar and didn't get results.. If you want to provide links to help me, am grateful...
Any comments on working there over holiday Season? Pro/con of the job..
I assume there are no concessions for RV sites?
Thanks.

  • My Uncle drove Bus for them for a few months, and then hit the road again. He loved it. I also have a friend who works there as security full time. She also loves it. Both have said its a friendly work environment, other than the occasional Rude guest.
  • Last time I was there, Fort Wilderness had a "discount" for employees. Take that for what it's worth. As far as i know, they will tell you that job openings occur minite to minite...and good luck for the one you want. Also you have to come down for an interview in advance...if you live far away....that can be a $$ consideration. At least that's the was it was some years ago as I remember it. Working at WDW would be a real blast. I wish I could do it...or maybe in the future....like you, just for the holidays or maybe as a snowbird. I would definitely try the Fort Wilderness thing rather than an outside RV park. But...as I was told, "once you're in, you're in" and would get first choice the next year.
Let us know how it turns out.
  • Everyone is on vacation and happy. Decent pay. But, he says "do what the mouse says" been there several years now
  • Go to allears.net and search employment or call 407-828-1000 which is their job line.
  • Does he say why? Good pay/boss or just all the people are happy coming to Disney?
  • I have a friend who drives bus for the mouse full time. Absolutely loves it.
  • When I full timed, I interviewed for Disney, but declined to pursue it further. First and foremost it is a job, and the employer Disney) has high expectations for performance. They did not guarantee any hours at all, and you are totally responsible for housing, transportation, and food costs. They did provide a list of RV parks close enough to commute to the park that had monthly rentals, but that was it.
