X2 - Certainly be a good conversation starter. - No and no!
- 69_AvionExplorerWith that short of wheelbase, my bet is that it is really squirrely at highway speeds.
- frankdampExplorerA British double-decker bus would be a much better candidate. 35' long, 14'6" high, and a sure-fire conversation piece wherever you go. You'd just have to have a good computer database showing where all the low bridges are!
The Leyland Atlantean from the 1960s-80's would be a good candidate, but you'd have to drive on the sidewalk side unless you could find an export (left-hand drive) model. They were transverse rear-engined rigs and a major factor in UK public transport for decades.
If I were 50 instead of 73. I'd be looking. Having been born and raised in Leyland, where the factory was right in downtown, two blocks from our family hardware store, may have something to do with my enthusiasm! - nineoaks2004ExplorerCute lil feller tho.

Would this be a cool bus to convert to RV? Do you know which movie this bus was in?
John Force has one that is WAY "cooler" - and definitely *not* an RV.

- mikebreezeExplorerThey have a number of tiny house shows on TV. Maybe a tiny RV show would be popular? I think that bus would make a great RV.
