Would you shovel snow to camp?
We don't get a lot of snow around here, but with this recent storm, we have a campground 45 minutes north of us in the mountains that got about 10". I look at all the photos here with folks campi...

Snow isn't the biggest problem. Freezing water is. We have 12" of snow on ground at this time. We have snow each year. You will slide around trying to get traction. Your site does not have to be clean of snow just not such as it will prevent you from extracting your RV when you decide to depart.
Take the kids and let them slide down hills on plastic garbage can lids, NO TREES. And check for things sticking up. Every year someone gets kabobed here on a fence post or ....... Trees make for bad stops. Just make sure you can get out of where you got in.
