It won't be snow, it will be a muddy slushy mess. You can't sled in it. Its a pain to shovel. You can't play in it. I would pass. It snowed about 15" earlier today and its snowing again. We got another 3 or 4" in the last 2 hours. My camper is in the backyard, gonna have to drag it out because we are leaving for Florida on Saturday morning.
If you really wanted to camp in the snow for your kids, wait until its below freezing so they can enjoy the snow. 4 to 6" isn't too terrible to drive in and is still enough to enjoy it. 10" of slush isn't going to be fun for anyone.
