I shoveled snow in the winter most of my life. If you are dealing with slush, its gong to be heavy. You also need to consider your physical condition. Lots of people die of heart attaks while shoveling snow - not saying it applies to you, just info to someone who has never done it. If you decide to do it, have a spare set of dry clothes because you will most likely break a sweat.
