There is a reason Yahoo is called Yahoo, here is a good example. - John_JoeyExplorer

I disagree,,Walmart has lower prices for many items then any other store,,thats what counts..
X2. Walmart is the RV'ers friend.
Their pharmacy are all linked together so you can pick up your prescription pretty painlessly.
You can get "cash back" without paying any ATM fee's.
If you are stuck finding a place to stay you can always overnight in their parking lot.
Stores are basically laid out all the same so no matter where you are in the country you can find stuff easily.
The weekend warrior has no need for the above, but many that use there RV's outside of a 150 mile radius do.
I would stay there, but I don't want to spend all that money to put security windows in and armor plating on the sides of my RV to keep thing from coming in.
Sounds like you're in BLM land and eating trapped rattlesnakes. WTF are you talking about? - Skid_Row_JoeExplorerI love both Yahoo and Walmart
- hedgehopperExplorerWhat’s with all the negativity toward Yahoo and Walmart?
Recently, we made a round trip from Denver to the Seattle area in our RV. Most nights Walmart provided overnight parking. We have no complaints. Many places the Walmart is the only place to shop. Their overnight parking is a mutually beneficial arrangement. We get a place to spend the night. And they benefit from our shopping at their store – mainly for groceries and propane. At most stores, when you ask for staff assistance, an associate walks you to the item you’re looking for. Plus the store is a place, out of the weather, for my after-meals walks. And some stores have a gas station – usually with the best price around. So what’s not to like?
As far as Yahoo is concerned, they have provided us with free email for years. So I’m willing to put up with their ads – another mutually beneficial arrangement. - ctilsie242Explorer IIAbout a year ago, Yahoo got rid of their well curated News Digest app for the current Newsroom app. The current one is pure clickbait and for all intents and purposes, garbage. It only deserves a one star review.

Parking and "living" in your RV in a Walmart shouldn't be used in the same sentence. :R
Get your,

for this thread!
Where is Mine ? :)
Is that craft?? I've been spoiled...:) - mowermechExplorerAt least, at the end of the article, the writer finally admitted that there are other places to spend the night, it isn't just Walmart.
Yes, I actually clicked through the whole thing, even though it was pretty much a waste of time. All that, and it didn't give one single bit of new information, just a re-hash of stuff that has been printed and discussed elsewhere.
The bit about the Google employees living in their parking lot to save money was interesting, though. - SuperchargedExplorer

How much did it cost you to click a few times....
I only clicked twice, once to open the page and again to close it when I saw what it was. - wa8yxmExplorer IIII noticed the article, though it included RV's in passing, was focused on people living in their car or truck to some extent.
I do .... Occasionally... Overnight in a Wal*mart. or a Flying J (et-al) or Cracker Barrel.. But never more than one night and on down the road in the morning. Last time was Halloween weekend to the Thursday following.
Next time will likely be around May 1st. (My semi-annual 800 Mile HIKE).
