a check using Gas Buddy frequently shows me a price per gallon difference of $.25. for example, just before doing this post i did a search on Gas Buddy for stations in my area sorted by price revealed a $.40 spread...$1.95-$2.35 and the $1.95 stations were not Costco, Sam’s Club or other membership stations. i’ve seen instances where two stations at the same intersection will have a $.25 spread and yet the higher priced station will still have customers. :h
Yup, the cheapest gas in my town is on a street with a bunch of gas stations. I paid around $2.40 for premium this weekend. There is literally a station next to this one with prices about 40 cents higher, and it was busy. Everywhere else in the same area is at or almost to $3. Costco, which is about 10 minutes from this area, was at $2.70. Just gotta look around, love the Gas Buddy app.
